Since graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, London, in 2001, Jerry has had a busy and varied career. As a freelance trumpet player he has played with a number of professional orchestras in the UK and in Europe.

As a Fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust he is committed to Music Education and in particular creating opportunities for young people who do not have the chance to learn a musical instrument. In summer 2008 the Trust will support him in visiting the Music Education System (El Sistema) in Venezuela and on his return he will be implementing innovative projects in the UK.

Jerry also has a busy schedule as a Trumpet Soloist. His repertoire is wide stretching from baroque music through to contemporary repertoire and he is currently looking forward to a European Trumpet and Organ recital tour with Organist Oliver Brett.

Jerry is also principal trumpet with Jubilate Brass, one of Britain’s busiest brass ensembles exposing some of the finest players from London Orchestras. They broadcast frequently on BBC television and radio and play regularly at Canterbury Cathedral for major services and ceremonies as well as concert venues including the Queen Elizabeth Hall. They have been guest soloists at a number of music festivals and music clubs in the UK and Europe.

The JB Quintet features soloists from the ceremonial ensemble and as well as being ideal for smaller venues has also played at weddings and corporate functions for a number of VIPs and celebrities.
